GOD WANTS US HEALED AND WHOLE (Part 1 - Video 1)

(Luke 4:40) "Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hand on every one of them and healed them."
(Luke 5:15) "But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities."
Heal - To make sound or whole: to restore to health: to cause an undesirable condition to be restored to its original state.
Cure: To restore to health, soundness or normality or to recover.
Sickness, Disease or Infirmity: Ill health, illness: a disordered, weakened or unsound condition.
As Jesus began his ministry, we find evidence of wherever he traveled, he ministered to those in need of healing and being made whole. He did not distribute prescriptions for medicine or told them to go see the local physician or get medicine from the local apothecary. As the scriptures states above, he healed them! Blinded eyes were opened, deaf ears were opened, the dumb talked, the lame walked, demons were cast out, dead bodies were brought back to life caused by diseases and so many more healing miracles he performed.
God gets no glory in seeing His people suffer or in pain who are called by His name. God made our bodies and who better than He can go directly to the root of the problem and fix it and make us whole. The woman in the posted video had this disease of her blood issuing from her body for 12 long years. According to the law, she was labeled as “unclean” and was not to be around others or touch anyone. She had spent her earnings for 12 years going to her doctor and the condition still remained. When she heard that Jesus was coming through, her faith allowed her to rise up and dispel any thoughts of disgrace or shame to go get her healing. Yes, she took a risk of not knowing what may happen to her but her faith propelled her to find the Healer! Just one touch was all she needed and that day it (her faith) made her whole both physically and emotionally.
My dad preached a sermon many years ago entitled, “Only One Touched Him.” Just one touch was all this woman needed to heal her. When you reach out to Jesus in faith, it (your faith) will cause him to stand at attention. Faith moves God, not our emotions or our feelings! He wants us healed! (More tomorrow - stay tuned)
